Preheat the oven to 450°F and bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Wash and dry all produce. Start the recipe when the oven is ready and the water is boiling. Cut broccoli into 1/2-inch pieces. To a parchment-lined baking sheet, add broccoli and 1 tbsp (2 tbsp) oil. Season with salt and pepper, then toss to coat. Roast on the middle rack of the oven for 14-16 min, until golden-brown and tender.

Meanwhile, to the boiling water, add penne. Cook for 12-14 min, until tender but still firm to the bite. When penne is tender, reserve 3/4 cup (1 1/2 cups) pasta water. Strain penne, then return to the pot, off heat. Toss penne with 1 tbsp (2 tbsp) oil.

Meanwhile, in a large non-stick pan, heat 1 tbsp (2 tbsp) oil over medium-high heat. While the pan heats, peel, then mince or grate garlic. When the pan is hot, add sausage. Cook for 4-5 min, breaking up sausage into smaller pieces, until no pink remains. Reduce heat to medium.

To the pan with sausage, add 1 tbsp (2 tbsp) butter. When butter is melted, add garlic and Cream Sauce Spice Blend. Cook for 1 min, stirring frequently, until fragrant. Add 1/4 cup (1/2 cup) milk, reserved pasta water and cream cheese. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 1-2 min, stirring frequently, until sauce thickens slightly. Remove from heat, then stir in sun-dried tomato pesto.

Add sauce to the pot with penne. Stir to combine. Divide pasta between bowls. Top with broccoli. Enjoy!
