Instructions

  • Prepare a large foil-lined baking sheet, then brush with 2 tsp oil or cooking spray.
  • Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  • Add chicken wings, baking powder and 1/4 tsp pepper to a large bowl. Season generously with salt, then toss to coat. 
  • Arrange chicken wings on the prepared baking sheet.

  • Bake chicken wings the middle of the oven, until chicken is cooked through, 12-15 min.**
  • Remove wings from the oven and set oven to broil. 
  • Flip wings, then broil in the top of the oven until wings are crispy and golden-brown, 2-3 min.
  • Meanwhile, heat a medium non-stick over medium.
    When hot, add peanuts to the dry pan. Toast for 2-3 min, stirring often, until golden. (TIP: Keep your eye on them so they don't burn!)
    Transfer to a plate.

  • Peel, then mince or grate garlic. 
  • Thinly slice green onions. Keeping the white and green parts separate. 
  • Reheat non-stick skillet over medium-low heat. When hot, add 1 tbsp oil, then garlic and green onion whites. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 30 sec- 1 min, until fragrant. Add soy sauce and honey-garlic sauce. Stir until combined and sauce comes to a simmer.
  • Continue to simmer for 2-3 min until sauce has thickened slightly.

  • Remove chicken wings from oven, then transfer to a large bowl. Pour honey-garlic sauce over top, then toss to combine until chicken is fully coated. 
  • Transfer chicken wings to a serving platter, then sprinkle crushed peanuts and remaining green onions over top.
