- Before starting, wash and dry all produce.
- Heat a large pot over medium-high high.
- When hot, add 1/2 tbsp (1 tbsp) oil, then sausage and Smoked-Paprika Garlic Blend. Cook for 4-5 min, breaking up pork into smaller pieces, until no pink remains.** Season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer sausage to bowl.
- While sausage cooks core, then cut pepper into 1/2-inch pieces.
- Thinly slice green onions.
- Reheat pot over medium.
- When hot, add 1 tbsp (2 tbsp) butter, peppers and half the green onions. Cook for 2-3 min, stirring often until tender-crisp.
- Sprinkle Cream Sauce Spice Blend overtop. Stir to coat.
- Add penne, 1 cup (2 cups) water, sausage, broth concentrate, cream, pesto and 1 cup (2 cups) water. Bring to a boil over high. Reduce heat to medium. Cook for 3-4 min, stirring occasionally until penne is tender and sauce has absorbed.
- Add spinach and creamy dressing. Season with salt and pepper? Stir to combine. (TIP: For a lighter sauce consistency, add water, 1-2 tbsp at a time.)
- Divide penne between bowls. Sprinkle remaining green onions overtop.
