Before starting, preheat the oven to 425°F. Wash and dry all produce. Trim ends off broccolini, then cut in half, lengthwise. Peel, then mince or grate 2 cloves of garlic.
Toss the broccolini, garlic, 1/2 tsp garlic salt and 1 1/2 tbsp oil on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Season with pepper. Roast in the top of the oven, stirring halfway through, until the broccolini is tender, 16-18 min.
When broccolini is done, toss with remaining lemon zest. Transfer to a large platter for serving.
