Cooking Steps

1
  • Before starting, preheat the oven to °F.
    Wash and dry all produce.
  • On a parchment-lined baking sheet, arrange bacon in a single layer.
  • Roast in the middle of the oven for 10-14 min, until bacon is crisp and cooked through.** Transfer bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to cool.
2
  • Meanwhile, drain, then pat the pineapple dry with paper towels.
  • Drain, then thinly slice olives.
  • Core, then cut pepper into 1/4-inch strips.
  • Core, then thinly slice jalapeño into 1/4-inch rounds, removing seeds for less heat. (TIP: We suggest using gloves when prepping jalapeños!)
3
  • Thinly slice cooked bacon.
  • On an unlined baking sheet, arrange flatbreads (NOTE: Two flatbreads per baking sheet )
  • Top flatbreads with marinara sauce or bbq sauce.
  • Top with any of the prepared toppings, bacon, peppers, pineapple, jalapenos, olives and cheese as desired.
4
  • Bake flatbreads in the middle of the oven for 7-8 min, until browned and crisp. (NOTE: For 4 servings, bake flatbreads in the middle and top of the oven, rotating sheets halfway through.) (TIP: Keep your eye on them so they don't burn!)
5
  • Cut flatbreads into quarters.
  • Serve any remaining BBQ sauce or Marinara on the side for dipping.
