Cooking Steps

  • Before starting, preheat the oven to 450°F.
    Wash and dry all produce.
  • Preheat a large non-stick pan over medium-high.
  • Juice half the lemon. Cut remaining lemon into wedges.
  • Pat turkey dry with paper towels. Season with Zesty Garlic Blend and pepper. (NOTE: If turkey steaks are thicker then 1-inch, place each piece on a cutting board and cover with plastic wrap. Using a rolling pin or heavy-bottomed pan, pound each turkey steak until 1-inch thick.)

  • Add 1 tbsp (2 tbsp) oil to pan, then turkey. (NOTE: Don't crowd the pan; cook in 2 batches if needed.) Pan-fry 2-3 min, flipping half way through, until golden. Transfer turkey to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • In a medium bowl, add pesto, half the parmesan, lemon juice and breadcrumbs. Season with salt and pepper. Stir to combine. 
  • Spread basil pesto evenly on top of turkey and cook in the middle of the oven for 10-12 min.

  • Using the same large non-stick pan, add 1 tbsp (2 tbsp) butter, cream, remaining Zesty Garlic Spice Blend, cream cheese and 1/4 cup (1/2 cup) water, bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
  • Add penne, toss to combine. Reduce heat to medium and cook for 2-4 min.

  • Meanwhile, cut cherry tomatoes in half.
  • Add tomatoes and spinach to pan, toss to combine. Cook for 2-3 min. Season with salt and pepper.

  • Divide pasta between plates
  • Divide turkey on top of pasta between plates
  • Sprinkle pasta with remaining parmesan.
  • Squeeze over a lemon wedge, if desired.
