How to make pizza sauce

In a medium bowl, mix together one 15-ounce can of tomato sauce and one 6-ounce can of tomato paste until smooth. Stir in 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 teaspoons of sugar, 1 teaspoon each of dried oregano and dried basil, 1/2 teaspoon each of garlic powder, onion powder, and salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Let the sauce sit for at least 30 minutes to meld the flavors, or refrigerate for a few hours or overnight. Once that’s done, spread over pizza dough, add your choice of toppings, and bake. It’s so easy!
