Cooking Steps

Cook bacon

  • Before starting, preheat the oven to 450°F. Wash and dry all produce.
  • On a parchment-lined baking sheet, arrange bacon in a single layer. 
  • Roast in the middle of the oven for 10-14 min, until bacon is crisp and cooked through.** Transfer bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to cool.

  • Meanwhile, drain, then pat the pineapple dry with paper towels. 
  • Drain, then thinly slice olives. 
  • Core, then cut pepper into 1/4-inch strips. 
  • Core, then thinly slice jalapeño into 1/4-inch rounds, removing seeds for less heat. (TIP: We suggest using gloves when prepping jalapeños!)
Build flatbreads

  • Thinly slice cooked bacon.
  • On an unlined baking sheet, arrange flatbreads. (NOTE: Two flatbreads per baking sheet.)
  • Top flatbreads with marinara sauce or BBQ sauce. 
  • Place toppings, including bacon, in small serving bowls and allow each person to top their own flatbread. 
Bake flatbread pizzas

  • Bake flatbreads in the middle of the oven for 7-8 min, until cheese is melted and flatbreads are crisp. (NOTE: For 4 servings, bake flatbreads in the middle and top of the oven, rotating sheets halfway through.) (TIP: Keep your eye on them so they don't burn!)
Finish and serve

  • Cut flatbreads into quarters. 
  • Serve any remaining marinara sauce or BBQ sauce on the side for dipping.
