Cooking Steps

Prep and cook chicken

  • Before starting, preheat the broiler to high. Wash and dry all produce.
  • Pat chicken dry with paper towels. 
  • To a foil-lined baking sheet, add chicken. Sprinkle over half the Asian Spice Blend, then season with salt and pepper.
  • Brush1/2 tbsp (1 tbsp) oil over top of chicken. Broil in the middle of the oven for 9-10 min, flipping once, until chicken is cooked through.**

  • To a small microwavable bowl, add honey and 1/2 tbsp (1 tbsp) soy sauce. Stir to combine, then set aside. 
  • Heat a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat. 
  • Meanwhile, cut peas in half. 
  • Add 1 tbsp (2 tbsp) oil to the pan, then peas. Cook for 1-2 min, stirring often until tender-crisp.
  • Add coleslaw mix and remaining Asian Spice Blend. Cook for 2-3 min, stirring often until tender-crisp and fragrant. Season with salt and pepper
  • Transfer to a plate. Cover to keep warm. 
Cook rice

  • Break up rice, in package. 
  • Add 1/2 tbsp (1 tbsp) oil to the same pan, then add rice, 1 tbsp (2 tbsp) water and remaining soy sauce. Cook for 3-4 min, stirring often, until softened. Season with pepper. 
Finish and serve

  • Microwave honey-soy mixture for 30 sec-1 min, until warmed through and slightly thickened. 
  • Slice chicken.
  • Divide rice between bowls.
  • Top with veggies and chicken. 
  • Drizzle over honey-soy mixture.
