Cooking Steps

  • Thinly slice chives.
  • Combine, bbq sauce, honey garlic sauce and soy sauce in a medium bowl.

  • Combine pork, panko, 1/4 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper in a large bowl. (TIP: If you prefer firmer meatballs, add an egg to the mixture!)
  • Roll mixture into 28 equal-sized meatballs.

  • Heat a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
  • When hot, add 1 tbsp oil, then meatballs. Cook, turning meatballs often, until browned all over and cooked through, 6-8 min.**
  • Reduce heat to medium, then add bbq honey garlic sauce to the pan.
  • Toss meatballs gently, until glaze thickens slightly and meatballs are coated, 1 min. Transfer meatballs to a serving plate.

  • Spoon any remaining glaze from the pan over top.
  • Sprinkle crispy shallots and chives over top.
