Cooking Steps

Prep

  • Before starting, wash and dry all produce. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high (use same for 4 servings).
  • Trim snow peas.
  • Thinly slice green onion.
Make sauce and prep shrimp

  • To a medium bowl, add oyster sauce, half the sweet chili sauce, half the Asian Sesame Blend and 1/3 cup (1/2 cup) water. Whisk to combine.
  • Drain and rinse shrimp, then pat dry with paper towels. Remove and discard shrimp tails. Season with salt and pepper.
Cook shrimp

  • Heat a large non-stick pan over high.
  • When the pan is hot, add 1 tbsp (2 tbsp) butter. Swirl the pan until melted.
  • Add shrimp and remaining Asian Sesame Blend. Cook for 2-3 min, stirring occasionally, until shrimp just turn pink.**
  • Transfer shrimp to a plate.
Cook veggies and noodles

  • Reheat the same pan over medium.
  • When the pan is hot, add 1/2 tbsp (1 tbsp) oil, snow peas and coleslaw cabbage mix. Cook for 2-3 min, stirring often, until tender-crisp.
  • Meanwhile, to the boiling water, add noodles. Cook for 1-3 min, stirring occasionally, until tender but still firm to the bite.
  • Strain and rinse noodles with warm water, then return to the pot, off heat. 
Finish and serve

  • To the pan with veggies, add sauce mixture (from step 2), noodles and shrimp. Cook for 1-2 min, stirring often, until noodles are coated.
  • Divide noodles between bowls.
  • Drizzle remaining sweet chili sauce over top.
  • Sprinkle crispy shallots and green onions over top.
