Cooking Steps

  • Before starting, preheat a large pot over medium. 
  • Wash and dry all produce.
  • Finely chop parsley.
  • Zest, then juice half the lemon (all for 4 servings). Cut any remaining into wedges.

  • To the pot, add 1 tbsp (2 tbsp) oil, then chicken and half the Cajun Spice Blend. Cook for 8-10 min, turning occasionally, until golden and cooked through.**
  • To the pot, add mirepoix, orzo, broth concentrate, Zesty Garlic Blend, remaining Cajun Spice Blend, and Cream Sauce Spice Blend.
  • Cook 1 min, until fragrant.

  • To the pot, add cream, cheese and 1 3/4 cups (3 1/2 cups) water. Bring to a simmer.
  • Once simmering, reduce heat to medium. Cover and cook for 10-12 min, stirring often, until most of the liquid is absorbed and orzo is tender. 
  • Add 1 tbsp (2 tbsp) butter and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper. Stir to combine.

  • Divide pasta between bowls.
  • Sprinkle remaining parm over top.
  • Sprinkle parsley over top.
  • Squeeze lemon wedge over top, if desired.
