Cooking Steps

Prep and cook sausage
1
  • Before starting, preheat the broiler to high. Wash and dry all produce.
  • Peel, then mince or grate garlic.
  • Finely chop spinach.
  • In a large non-stick pan, heat 1/2 tbsp oil over medium-high. When the pan is hot, add sausage, spinach and half the garlic. Cook for 3-5 min, breaking up sausage into smaller pieces, until no pink remains.**  Season with salt and pepper.
Make alfredo sauce
2
  • To a medium microwavable bowl, add cream cheese. Cook for 30 sec, until softened.
  • Add remaining garlic, cream and half the Parmesan. Whisk until well combined. Season with pepper. Set aside.
  • Halve tomatoes.
Toast flatbreads
3
  • On 2 foil-lined baking sheets, arrange flatbreads.
  • One sheet at a time, broil flatbreads in the middle of the oven for 1-2 min per side, until softened. (TIP: Keep an eye on them so they don't burn!)
  • Carefully flip flatbreads.
  • Equally divide alfredo sauce between flatbreads.
  • Top with sausage mixture, mozzarella cheese, tomatoes and remaining Parmesan cheese.
Finish and serve
4
  • One sheet at a time, broil flatbreads in the middle of the oven for 2-3 min, until cheese melts. (TIP: Keep an eye on them so they don't burn!)
  • Let flatbreads cool for 3-5 min before serving.
  • Meanwhile, to a small microwavable bowl add marinara sauce. Cook for 1-2 min in the microwave, until warmed through.
  • Cut flatbreads into 4, then divide between plates.
  • Serve marinara on the side for dipping.
