1
  • Before starting, preheat the oven to 450°F.
    Wash and dry all produce.
  • To a small bowl, add half the cream cheese (use all for 4 servings) and cheddar cheese. Stir until well-combined.

  • Form turkey-mixture into 2 (4) equal-sized balls.
  • Place one ball in the palm of your hand, then create a divot in the centre.
  • Add cheese mixture to the divot, then pinch the edges together over the cheese to seal.
  • Gently flatten into 4-inch wide patties.

2
  • Heat a large non-stick pan over medium.
  • When hot, add 1 tbsp oil, then patties. Pan-fry until golden, 1-2 min per side.** (NOTE: Don't overcrowd the pan; cook burgers in 2 batches if needed.)
  • Transfer patties to a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush BBQ sauce evenly over patties.
  • Bake in the middle of the oven for 7-10 min, until cooked through.**

  • Meanwhile, halve buns and arrange on an an unlined baking sheet, cut-sides up. Set aside.
  • Cut tomato into 1/4-inch pieces
  • To a medium bowl, add half the vinegar (use all for 4 servings), 1/4 tsp (1/2 tsp) sugar and 1 tbsp (2 tbsp) oil. Season with salt and pepper, then whisk to combine.
  • Add tomatoes, then set aside.
Toast buns
4
  • Meanwhile, toast buns in the top of the oven for 3-4 min, until golden. (TIP: Keep an eye on them so they don't burn!)
