Cooking Steps

  • Before starting, wash and dry all produce.
  • Heat a large non-stick pan over high.
  • When hot, add 1 tbsp oil, then beef. Cook for 3-4 min, breaking up beef into smaller pieces, until no pink remains.**
  • Add Shawarma Spice Blend and Garlic Puree. Cook for 1 min, stirring constantly, until fragrant. Season with salt and pepper.

  • Meanwhile, halve tomatoes. 
  • Cut cucumber into 1/4-inch half moons. 
  • Strain olives. 
  • Cut parsley.
  • Add vinegar, 1 tbsp and 1/2 tsp sugar to a small bowl, then whisk to combine. Add coleslaw, then stir to coat. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.

  • Divide cabbage and beef between 2 air-tight containers.
  • Top cabbage with cucumbers, tomatoes, parsley and olives. 
  • Sprinkle over feta. 
  • Once ready to eat, drizzle over yogurt sauce.
