Cooking Steps

1
  • Core pepper. Using a kids knife, kids pair of scissors or a butter knife get your little chef to cut the pepper into 1/2-inch pieces.
  • Get your little chef to cut the lettuce into strips.
  • Have your little chef empty the guacamole, sourcream and salsa into small bowls.
2
  • Heat a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat. When the pan is hot, add 1 tsp oil, then pork and peppers.
  • Cook, breaking up pork into smaller pieces, until no pink remains, 4-6 min.**
  • Carefully drain and discard excess fat.
  • Add Mexican Seasoning to the pan. Cook, stirring often, until fragrant, 30 sec.
  • Remove from heat.
3
  • Turn a 12 cup muffin tip upside down. Get your little chef to brush each tortilla with 1 tsp oil.
  • Nestle 1 tortillas in the space between 4 cups to form a "bowl." Press firmly to set. Repeat with 3 more tortillas.
4
  • Bake tortilla bowls in the middle of the oven until crisp and set, 4-5 min.
  • Repeat with remaining tortillas.
5
  • Divide tortilla bowls between plates. Divide the Mexican spiced pork between bowls.
  • Get your little chef to sprinkle cheese over top of the beef.
  • Top your taco bowls with any desired toppings.
