Cooking Steps

  • Before starting, preheat the oven to 450 °F.
  • Pre-heat, large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
  • Wash and dry all produce.
  • Cut cucumbers into 1/2-inch rounds.
  • Cut tomatoes into 1-in rounds
  • Halve baby gem lenghtwise. Cut into 1/2-inch pieces.

  • To a large bowl, add dijon mustard, 1 tsp (2 tsp) sugar, white wine vinegar, half the Italian Herb Spice Blend and 1 tbsp (2 tbsp) oil. Season with salt and pepper, then whisk to combine. 
  • To a small bowl, add mayonnaise and ketchup, then stir to combine.

  • Arrange buns on an unlined baking sheet, cut-sides up. Drizzle with 1 tbsp (2 tbsp) oil. Toast for 3-4 min, until golden. (TIP: Keep an eye on them so they don't burn!)

  • Meanwhile, to the hot large non-stick pan, add 1 tbsp (2 tbsp) oil and turkey. Cook 4-5 min, breaking up chicken into smaller pieces, until no pink remains.** Season with Montreal Spice Blend.
  • Add cheddar cheese. Cook until cheese melts.

  • To the bowl with dressing, add lettuce and cucumber. Season with salt and pepper, then toss to combine. 
  • Spread the ketchup mayo on both sides of the bun.
  • Stack tomatoes and turkey on the bottom buns. Close with top bun.
  • Divide salad between plates.
