Cooking Steps

Cook beef and veggies

  • Before starting, wash and dry all produce.
  • Heat a large pot over medium-high.
  • Meanwhile, thinly slice mushrooms into 1/4-inch slices.
  • When the pot is hot, add beef, mushrooms and onions to the dry pot. Cook for 5-6 min, breaking up beef into smaller pieces, until no pink remains.** Season with salt and pepper.
Start soup

  • Add Gravy Spice Blend, Smoked Paprika-Garlic Blend and half the creamy dressing (use all for 4 servings). Cook for 30 sec, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom of the pan. 
  • Add 2 1/2 cups (5 cups) water and stock powder, then bring up to a simmer. 
Simmer soup

  • Once soup is simmering, add kale and cook for 3-4 min, stirring occasionally, until kale wilts slightly. Season with salt and pepper.
Finish and serve

  • Remove soup from heat.
  • Divide soup between bowls.
  • Top with sour cream and croutons.
  • Snip dill over top.
