Cooking Steps

Prep

  • Before starting, wash and dry all produce.
  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil over high.
  • Trim snow peas.
  • Thinly slice green onions.
Make sauce and prep shrimp

  • To a medium bowl, add oyster sauce, half the Cumin-Turmeric Spice Blend, 1/2 tsp (1 tsp) sugar and 1/3 cup (1/2 cup) water. Whisk to combine.
  • Using a strainer, drain and rinse shrimp, then pat dry with paper towels. 
Cook shrimp

  • Heat a large non-stick pan over high.
  • When hot, add 1 tbsp (2 tbsp) butter. Swirl pan until melted.
  • Add shrimp, half the Moo Shu Spice Blend (use all for 4 servings) and remaining Cumin-Turmeric Spice Blend. Cook for 2-3 min, stirring occasionally, until shrimp are opaque.**
  • Transfer shrimp to a plate.
Cook veggies and noodles

  • Heat the same pan over medium.
  • When hot, add 1/2 tbsp (1 tbsp) oil, snow peas and coleslaw cabbage mix. Cook for 2-3 min, stirring often, until tender crisp.
  • Meanwhile, to the boiling water, add noodles. Cook for 1-3 min, stirring occasionally, until tender but still firm to the bite.
  • Strain and rinse noodles with warm water. 
Finish and serve

  • To pan with veggies, add oyster sauce mixture, noodles and shrimp. Cook for 1-2 min, stirring often, until noodles are coated.
  • Divide noodles between bowls.
  • Sprinkle crispy shallots and green onions over top.
