Cooking Steps

Prep and cook Impossible® Burger Patties

  • Before starting, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil (use same for 4 servings). Wash and dry all produce.
  • Heat a large non-stick pan over medium-high.
  • Meanwhile, core, then cut pepper into 1/4-inch pieces.
  • Juice lemon.
  • When the pan is hot, add 1 tbsp (2 tbsp) oil, then Impossible® Burger Patties and peppers. Cook for 5-6 min, breaking up patties into smaller pieces, until crispy.** Season with salt, pepper and half the Smoked Paprika-Garlic Blend.
Boil cavatappi

  • To the boiling water, add cavatappi. Cook uncovered for 8-9 min, stirring occasionally, until tender but still firm to the bite.
  • Reserve 1/3 cup (2/3 cup) pasta water.
  • Strain cavatappi, then return to the pot, off heat. 
Make sauce

  • When the Impossible® Burger Patties are done, to the same pan, add crushed tomatoes, creamy dressing, stock powder, reserved pasta water, half the roasted garlic puree (use all for 4 servings), remaining Smoked Paprika-Garlic Blend, 1 tbsp (2 tbsp) butter, 1 tbsp (2 tbsp) lemon juice and 1/8 tsp (1/4 tsp) sugar. Cook for 3-4 min, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper.
Finish and serve

  • Roughly chop parsley.
  • To the pot with cavatappi, add sauce, then stir to combine.
  • Divide paprikash between bowls.
  • Sprinkle parsley over top.

If you've opted to get Impossible®, cook for 5-6 min, in the same way as the chicken, breaking up patties into smaller pieces, until crispy.**
