Puerto Rican-Style Pork Chop & Rice

Puerto Rican-Style Pork Chop & Rice

with Sofrito Braised Beans & Butternut Squash

"Meal is pre-cooked and ships ready-to-heat in your oven or microwave. Few flavours hit like mojo in this Puerto Rican inspired dish. Bright, herbaceous, and garlicky, here it brings the best out of tender pork chops, as does a tomato sauce loaded with lime, cilantro, and tons of herbs and aromatics. Rice infused with garlic, onion and another touch cilantro is a natural complement, while sofrito-braised beans and butternut squash layer on even more flavour. Roasted red peppers and onions finish the dish."

Ingredients: Pork chop • Red kidney beans (red kidney beans, water, calcium chloride, disodium EDTA) • Water • Spanish onion • Wild rice blend (white rice, wild rice) • Butternut squash • Diced tomatoes (tomatoes, tomato juice, calcium chloride, citric acid) • Red bell pepper • Red onion • Garlic • Olive oil • Green peas • Tomato paste (vine-ripened fresh tomatoes, naturally derived citric acid) • Lime juice • Cilantro • Green bell pepper • Sea salt • Red wine vinegar (sulphites) • Cumin • Garlic powder • Paprika • Black pepper • Oregano • White wine vinegar (sulphites) • Onion powder • Coriander.
