Chicken Broth Concentrate
Add 1 1/4 cups water, broth concentrate and 1/ 8 tsp salt (dbl both for 4 ppl) to a medium pot. Cover and bring to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, add rice, then reduce heat to low. Cover and cook until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed, 12-14 min. Remove the pot from heat. Set aside, still covered.
While rice cooks, heat a medium non-stick pan over medium-high heat. When hot, add sesame seeds to the dry pan. Toast, stirring often, until golden, 3-4 min. (TIP: Keep your eye on them so they don't burn!) Transfer to a plate.
Add BBQ sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil and honey to the same pan over medium. Cook, stirring often, until warmed though and thickens slightly, 3-4 min.
Thinly slice green onions. Cut four sections off nectarine(s), avoiding the pit. Cut each section into 1-inch pieces. Peel, then cut onion into 1-inch pieces. Add sesame oil, BBQ sauce, soy and honey to a small bowl. Whisk to combine. Roll sausage meat into 8 equal-sized meatballs (16 for 4 ppl). Alternately thread onions, nectarines and sausage onto skewers.
Add skewers to grill. Reduce heat to medium, close lid and grill, turning often, until sausage is cooked through and onions are tender, 3-4 min per side.** Once sausage is cooked through, brush skewers all over with BBQ sauce mixture. Cook, turning occasionally, until sauce has thickened slightly, 1-2 min.
Fluff rice with a fork, then stir in green onions. Divide rice between plates. Top with sausage skewers, then drizzle over remaining BBQ sauce. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
