Italian sausage has an established place on pastas and pizza pies, which is why we’re trying something different and adding it to bouncy couscous. The adventuresome combo, which is rounded out by supple mushrooms and tender spinach, is a textural treat and packs plenty of garlicky flavour, too.

Talk about restaurant-quality meals at home! This stunner of a dinner comes together with seared steak, a decadent herb pan sauce, and a colourful pairing of sweet potatoes and green beans. There’s even a French flair in there with a sprinkling of crunchy slivered almonds, also known as amandine.

It doesn’t matter if your favourite part of salad is the fresh veggies or the crispy croutons. Fattoush will satisfy either way. The Lebanese dish features both a jumble of greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, and chickpeas as wells as chunks of toasted bread. We’ll be using pieces of flatbread here, which soak up the dressing and have a dusting of herby za’atar, which adds plenty of vibrant flavour.
